Louisa Hamborg

I have recently joined the Jennie Nelms School of Dance, but have been teaching now for 7 years. I really enjoy teaching, and I love it when students achieve their full potential, whether in exams, festivals, or shows. I like working with all age groups – from nursery classes right up to adults.

I trained through the Joan Ward School of Dance in Lancaster where I took my dance exams in Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Greek. I then went on to complete my teaching exams and gained full qualification with the I.S.T.D in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre, and Classical Greek. I am also qualified with the B.B.O in Classical Ballet.

I am particularly passionate about Classical Greek. When I was younger I won a number of prizes in this style, and I’ve since gone on to complete my Advanced II.

It is a pleasure to work for Jennie, and I am thoroughly enjoying being a part of the school.
